How to replace and install rubber fender
Rubber fender is a kind of widely used anti-collision equipment in wharf. Since the 1970s, it has been widely used in wharves and ports in China. Due to frequent collisions and the natural aging of rubber, the service life of rubber fenders is generally only 10 years. However, the service life of docks and ports is much more than 10 years, so docks and ports must be replaced with rubber fenders during use. At present, the more common method of replacing rubber fender is to replace it with D-type foam fender. At the same time, many small and medium-sized terminals, such as Haikou port, have been replaced by the used tire chain type suspension cable fender.
Project introduction
A gravity pier 120 meters long and 20 meters wide was built in the 1980s. As the original fender was worn out and the shape of the dock changed, it was necessary to replace and install a new rubber fender. Rubber fender used in this project Each rubber fender has 8 M24 bolts. When the compression deformation of the rubber fender reaches 50%, the maximum reaction force of the rubber fender is 686.7kN, and the tensile strength of each bolt after anchoring is greater than 86kN, which meets the requirements of engineering use. A total of 120 rubber fenders and 960 bolts were required for the project.
The port is a haven with a design high water level of 3.80 meters, a design low water level of 0.40 meters, an average high water level of 2.3 meters, and an average low water level of 1.20 meters. Inner rubber and reinforcing layer

Protective cord layer and interior rubber. It has the advantages of wear-resisting, anti-piercing, anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging, anti-seawater erosion, anti-static, flame retardant and so on.
Reinforced nylon curtain
It is composed of hanging rubber curtain cloth, and the internal air of the fender is subjected to external extrusion pressure to generate external tension, ensuring that the explosion-proof type is not subjected to external extrusion and explosion. The reinforced layer increases the tensile strength of the fender and withstands the extrusion pressure.
