Rubber fender (non-floating) is a kind of anti-collision device for ship in dock, which has a long history and wide application range. According to the stress of rubber fender, rubber fender can be divided into shear type, rotary type and compression type. According to the structure of the fender, the rubber fender can be divided into D-type, cone, drum, fan, rectangular, cylindrical fender and so on. The rubber fender has the advantages of energy absorption, high reaction force, low cost, long service life, simple installation and maintenance, etc. The rubber fender is a pier, and more protective devices are provided on the pier. Wood fender has poor elasticity, short service life, low strength and large maintenance workload; Steel guardrail is easy to rust, it can be permanently deformed in ship collision, and the reaction force and sound during collision are larger. The rubber fender is selected as the initial development of the building material dock.
Marine airbags are not only used at sea, they also need to be inflated. Inflation is different from normal balloon inflation. There's a lot to watch out for. Let's take a look:
1. According to the pressure specified in the manual and certificate, it is best to use the pressure gauge of our company's special equipment to reach the specified pressure limit. Beyond this limit the balloon is likely to explode.
2, the inflation time can not be too urgent, otherwise it will cause the air bag on the side of the drum to inflate and the other side does not react, but also cause the first side to explode due to excessive pressure.
3. The inflator should be selected according to the size of the airbag. A normal DN200mm airbag cannot use an air pump to stop inflation. It is necessary to inflate with an inflator. Even if a large airbag must choose 0.036 cubic meters, the exhaust volume per minute is very small, and the ventilation time is about 5×10 minutes. In this way, the value of the pressure gauge is rarely observed, and the balloon explosion is not caused by sudden overpressure.
